Everyone at Elita Pack, works very hard to ensure that our products are sourced in an ethical and socially responsible manner.
Everyone who works for Elita Pack, understands the importance consumers place on ethically sourced goods and respect for our environment and strives to produce products that meet our customers expectations in every way.
We are helping to further enforce these principles by joining Sedex, a non-profit making organisation that helps businesses commit to continuous improvement in ethical performance throughout the supply chain.
We fully co-operate with and extend beyond, where possible, all government worker welfare legislation. We do not support regimes where labour is bonded, forced or exploited.
In all manufacturing facilities, we interpret the creation of a safer and healthier working atmosphere in our factory. We embrace the following principles :
- living conditions are up to the standards laid down by Sedex
- the age of employees complies with all local laws
- a consulting room exist on the work environment for the workers
- health check assessments are being done weekly by the factory's doctor
- to contribute to the employees to help them acquire skills and capabilities in occupational health and safety rules and implementations, and to help them increase their individual awareness
- to increase the qualifications and awareness of employees about the importance of the protection of environment, sustainability and the implementations of the environment management system
